Cierra’s Wish Candle ~ Shedding Light on Animal Rescue
Cierra was the first Pug that we had rescued together as a couple. She was certainly not the last one either. Initially, we brought her in to our home as a foster, but we quickly fell in love and knew we could never let her out of our site for the rest of her life! We would be what many in the animal rescue-world refer to as ‘foster failures’ and quite honestly, we were/are completely ‘ok’ with that title! Cierra was truly one of the main driving forces that lead us down the path of handcrafting our own illuminations and inspiring the birth of Mystic Pines Candle Co. Sadly, we only had this lovely little lady for 5 years...but they were the most amazing 5 years ever! Before she entered our lives, Cierra did have a family...and one that deeply cared for her, but for various reasons, they could no longer care for her in the capacity that she required. Sadly, this is very common in animal rescue...but we felt compelled to do something about it...but, what?
We wanted to share her story, and we wanted to bring ‘light,’ and perhaps a little bit of ‘kindness’...to this difficult and very emotional aspect of rescuing, fostering and re-homing domestic animals. We knew that it would be Cierra's 'wish' for every rescue dog or cat to find a safe haven, a place to find peace and comfort...a place to call their furever home...just as she had.

Your candle will be intuitively crowned with various gemstones and crystals at no additional cost. A ‘dusting’ of Red Clover (used for animal blessings) is also adorns this top of this candle.
All Mystic Pines candles are handcrafted, 100% American-grown soy and beeswax, cotton-wicked (lead-free) and Reiki blessed. Please note it may take up 4 to 6 business days to complete and ship your order.
HOUSEKEEPING: Candles burn best (and longest), when you allow a wax 'pool' to extend completely to the edge of the glass, otherwise your candle will tunnel straight down and the life of your candle will diminish greatly. Ceiling fans and floor fans (any type of moving air!) can also affect the way your candle burns.
