The 1st Gift you will receive as your candle burns down are words of guidance and support. Your personal message appears through the crystal ball. There are no two messages alike!

Once your candle burns all the way down to the socket, your 2nd Gift reveals itself. Patiently waiting for you is a beautiful crystal/stone - amplifying the sacred intention of your Mystic Pines Fortune Candle.

When your candle has burned low enough to reveal your personal message through the Crystal Ball on the front label, and retrieved your crystal/stone at the bottom of your candle jar…your 3rd Gift awaits! 

Gently pull the tiny ribbon located on the back label’s lower right-hand corner. Here you will find your personal code to receive a 30 minute intuitive/tarot reading with Christina Cox. Every single candle I handcraft will possess a unique code that can only be used once.

If patience is truly a virtue for you, please wait to schedule your reading with me once your candle has fully extinguished and your crystal/stone has been revealed to you.

***To retrieve your stone, once your candle has burned down low enough, or when you are completely done burning, warm to hot water and a butter knife or chopstick works well in loosening up the crystal/stone to remove it…but please only do this once your candle has burned down low enough! Do not try to do this if your candle has just burned out, and the glass is still warm as the glass could crack.***

The ‘Surprise Me!’ Fortune Candle is $85 each. This personalized version will be an intuitive blend completely separate from the usual Fortune Candles and will take more time to create for you.

HOUSEKEEPING: Candles burn best (and longest), when you allow a wax 'pool' to extend completely to the glass, otherwise your candle will tunnel straight down and the life of your candle will diminish greatly. Ceiling fans and floor fans (any type of moving air!) can also affect the way your candle burns. It’s VERY important to maintain the cotton wick on your candle! Before relighting your candle, make sure you remove any excess wick that has accumulated. Because of the highest-grade waxes, oils and wicks that we use, our candles WILL NOT THROW SOOT…but they will, if you don’t trim the wick before relighting your candle.

Yule ~ Winter Solstice 

A candle to honor the return of Light after the longest night of the year. 

Our Yule is a 16 oz, 100% soy and beeswax, cotton-wicked (lead-free) Reiki Blessed candle infused with our signature scent, crowned with specific crystals to enhance its spiritual vibration.

This creation has also been anointed with Cedarwood oil, which acts as a powerful 'tool' for enlightenment, which also helps to keep our inner-fire alight during the dark and cold winter months. Bloodstone, Emerald, Garnet and Snowflake Obsidian complete the dressing of Yule, bringing healing to the Heart and Root Chakras, keeping us grounded and balanced while the earth slumbers under a blanket of snow.

It is the time of Blessing of the seeds and consecration of agricultural tools, and is the festival of the Maiden, as it is her season to prepare for growth and renewal. Our Imbolc is a blend of 100% soy and beeswax, cotton-wicked, hand blessed and crowned with Amethyst (All Healer stone. Stimulates creativity, spiritual connection and spiritual protection), Garnet (Clears lower Chakras and for grounding and creativity and encourages magick, spiritual devotion and joy), Moonstone (Embracing the sacred feminine energy and enhances psychic abilities) and Moss Agate (Helps release repressed emotions, attracts abundance and prosperity).

As the earth grows colder, entering into its dying time, turning within, we too are given the opportunity to look within. We’re given the chance to attend to ourselves and to the dusty, unexamined parts of our lives. Samhain heralds in a ‘darker’ season where we are asked to radically embrace loss, to willingly and moreover actively journey within, into the labyrinthine passages of our hearts and minds and souls; we’re asked to journey into memory and to sweep out those hidden internal corners all those things that no longer serve us. Here, we’re given a chance to take stock and to reevaluate. More importantly, we’re asked to rejoice, to give thanks for the blessings that have fallen, often unexpectedly, into our hands throughout the previous months. More importantly, Samhain is about the memory of things long past and long gone. Loss does hold value. Loss teaches us what we have. It teaches us how to recognize and treasure the smallest of blessings in our lives. Samhain is a time when, above all else, we are asked to honor these aspects of our lives.

While our ancestors are always with us, there’s something special about this time of year. Perhaps it’s only that we are primed to be more open to their presence around Samhain, perhaps it is that with the world withering in beauty all around us, it is easier to put ourselves in a place where we can consciously touch them. Let us remember them now: their names, their stories, their struggles, their sacrifices. Let us carry their graves on our backs, in our hearts, in our minds, in our memories. We are here because of them. We are their legacy: generation after generation of human brutality, suffering, indifference, and loss and we are here. Generation after generation of human celebration, courage, integrity, and hope and we are here. Let us praise them. Let us remember their names. Let us imbibe their sorrows and their joys. We are their living trust.
