Our September Candle Cause is Almost There Rescue!
Their mission is to save mama dogs and pups, provide care and enrichment, and find loving, forever homes.
"ATR specializes in pregnant and nursing dogs and pups who need time and space to grow and become socialized. The dogs experience a significant amount of socialization through their specialized programs while in their care. The puppies go through a specially designed curriculum “Puppy Culture” developed by a team of experts including behavioral veterinarians and credentialed trainers."
"As soon as they are born and until they leave their care, the pups participate in age-appropriate enrichment activities to help with their socialization and overall development into well-adjusted furry family members. The mama dogs also work with on site behaviorists who develop personalized programs to prepare them for life as your new best friend."
"All dogs are exposed to many experiences to set them – and their new families – up for a lifetime of success. ATR is determined to give adopters all the information available about these dogs so they can find the perfect match. All of the dogs are altered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption. Adoption and donation fees paid help cover the substantial costs and fund their life-saving work."

Almost There Rescue’s 16 oz Mason jar is available in several scents, is handcrafted with our signature soy and beeswax blend and is crowned with specific crystals to raise the healing vibration of the space this candle is illuminated.
Scents are subject to change as are the ribbon/jute string that binds the Saint Francis medal to the ‘lip’ of the Mason jar.
As always, 30% from the sale of this candle (and any candle available on our website, with the exception of those created for other organizations) will benefit Almost There Rescue!

Apples & Maple Bourbon - Apple, cinnamon, a hint of orange, Bourbon and butter are the heart of this fragrance, while rich, sweet maple and vanilla finish off this irresistible baked apple dessert solidified in candle form
Drunken Pumpkin - A hearty, holiday infusion of Kentucky Bourbon, sweet pumpkin, coconut milk, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon
Elderflower - Elderflower blossoms blend effortlessly with quince nectar, while white raspberry, lily, strawberry and amber lend a bit of depth and lavishness
Fragrance Free - There is no fragrance or essential oil added
Hoodie Weather - Juniper berries, fresh eucalyptus, sage and cedar wood with sweet spearmint blend harmoniously as the perfect Fall scent
Macintosh Apple - Macintosh apple paired perfectly with spicy cinnamon leaf
Olive Branch - Lemon prepares the air and the senses to be thoroughly cleansed with a spicy blend of geranium, thyme, and rosemary essential oils, revealing a warm, woody base
Whiskey - Some call this the "water of life," and our Whiskey fragrance oil is an intoxicating blend of potent alcohol notes and smoked oak
HOUSEKEEPING: Candles burn best (and longest), when you allow a wax 'pool' to extend completely to the glass, otherwise your candle will tunnel straight down and the life of your candle will diminish greatly. Ceiling fans and floor fans (any type of moving air!) can also affect the way your candle burns.
